North Otago has had to make to one change to the lineup from the Southland game a fortnight ago with Darcy Hooper-Smith replacing Scott Simpson:

Jeremiah Shields, Ben Cant, Darcy Hooper-Smith (wkt), Duncan Drew, Stephan Grobler (capt), Jordan Horrell, Glynn Cameron, Tim O'Malley, Tim McCormick, David Sewell and Chris Ware. George Inwood is 12th man

Day One

10.17am: North Otago has won the toss and will bat first. Jordan Horrell has been promoted up the order and will open with Jeremiah Shields.
11.09am: North Otago has made a slow but steady start, 7/0 of 12 overs. Horrell is 2 not out while Shields is 4 not out.
11.15am: North Otago has lost its first wicket, Shields out caught by Houston of the bowling of Richard Print for 4. Ben Cant joins Horrelll at the crease, 8/1.
11.47am: Drinks and North Otago are 28/1 of 21 overs. Jordan Horrell is 4 not out while Ben Cant is 15 not out.
12.15pm: Jordan Horrell is out caught behind for 5, North Otago 39/2 with Ben Cant on 25 and captain Stephan Grobler joining him at the crease.
12.36pm: Ben Cant is out caught at square leg for 29, North Otago 49/3. Stephan Grobler who is 6 not out is joined by Duncan Drew.
12.45pm: Another wicket before lunch Duncan Drew caught at first slip by B Ravenscroft of the bowling of Phillips for 4. North Otago 54/4 with Grobler on 7 and Tim O'Malley just gone in.
12.52pm: O'Malley is out without scoring, leaving Phillips on a hatrick but Glynn Cameron sees out the next ball. North Otago 58/5, Grobler on 11, Cameron 0.

2.10pm: Tim McCormick is out leg before wicket to the bowling of Ravenscroft for 14, North Otago 89/7 of 50.2 overs. Darcey Hooper-Smith joins Grobler who is on 27.

11.46am: Grobler is out, caught behind by Winter of the bowling of R Print failing to score. North Otago is a bit of trouble at 12/3, Drew and Cant at the crease.
12.01pm: Goes from bad to worse, Duncan Drew is bowled by Ravenscroft failing to score. North Otago 13/4, Cant is joined by Tim O'Malley.
12.34pm: North Otago now 38/4 of 17 overs. Ben Cant is on 18 and Tim O'Malley 9.
12.43pm: Ben Cant is out caught by Houston of the bowling of Kruger for 31. North Otago 51/5 with Cameron joining O'Malley at the crease.
12.51pm: Tim O'Malley is caught behind by B Ravenscroft of the bowling of Phillips for 9. North Otago 57/6, Cameron on 6 and Tim McCormick joining him.

1.53pm: Cameron is bowled by Print for 35. North Otago 98/7. Hooper-Smith at the wicket now with McCormick who is on 4.
2.03pm: Hooper-Smith is out caught in a sharp catch in close by Kruger of the bowling of Phillips. North Otago 106/8 with David Sewell joining McCormick who is on 12.
2.04pm: Sewell is out leg before wicket to the bowling of Phillips failing to score. North Otago now 106/9, an injured Chris Ware is coming out to bat.
2.12pm: North Otago is all out for 117. McCormick the last batsman out leg before wicket to the bowling of Phillips for 22. Phillips taking 7-55 in the match. Ware was 1 not out.
