North Otago scored a first innings win over Otago B in a cricket match at Oamaru. Rain washed out play late in the second day on Saturday, preventing an interesting finish.

Otago had first use of the wicket on Friday, scoring 123 runs. At stumps North Otago gad lost nine for 150.

Resuming the innings on Saturday North Otago added a further 17 runs.

In its second strike, Otago was 216 for six at the tea adjournment. Play was not resumed.
