About Us

The North Otago Cricket Association was founded at the Star and Garter Hotel, Oamaru in 1899 to govern and grow cricket in our district. Being one of the two smallest cricket districts it continues to 'punch above it weight' with a number of our players making higher honours at first class and international level with John Reid and David Sewell playing test match cricket for our country along with a number playing first class cricket for our major Otago and other teams.
