Glenavy played St Kevins in a match between the only two unbeaten sides.

Harry Murphy 46 played a lone hand for Glenavy, as they were bowled out for 122 in 42 overs. Flynn Sanford took 2-11, Sam McCarthy bowling spin took 2-13 and Liam Direen 2-16.

In its chase St Kevins lost 4 wickets before the required total was reached, being 124/4 in 21 overs. Hunter Growcott reached 31, Toby Growcott 23 and Campbell Fowler 23no. Hamish McCulloch took 2-29.

An exciting game was played between Albion and Valley.

Albion batted first and looked to be set for a competitive total at 87-3 but spinners Jack Cameron and Ben Kay had other ideas. They ripped through the Albion lineup to have the home side all out for 115 in 39 overs. Kay took 4-21 and Cameron 3-20. At the top of the innings, Albert Francis reached 34 and Tom Squire 27.

Chasing what appeared to be a small total Albion made regular inroads into the Valley batting which led to a nervous finish. Jack Price 33 led the charge early, then Nathan McLachlan 39no guided his team to victory. Valley 118/8 in 30 overs. Ricky White took 4-29 and Tom Squire 3-32.

Oamaru successfully defended the Payne Tempero Cup against Waitaki Boys by 49 runs.

Batting first Oamaru was all out in the 46th over for 211, after Jordan Bartlett 44, Stephan Grobler 37, Quinn Wardle 31, Asanka Gamlathge 30 and Luke Taylor 20 made good contributions. Lochie Mavor 3-31, Billy Wilson 3-31 and Samuel Petrie 2-40 bowled well for the students.

While at times looking threatening, Waitaki Boys were eventually bowled all out for 162 in 40 overs. Reece Curle took 3-24, Lachlan Brookes 2-25 and Stephan Grobler 3-24. For Waitaki Alex Wilson 47 top scored, Lochie Mavor 24 and Billy Wilson 21 were the best of the batsmen.
